From a young age, I was blessed to know my passion – reading!
The joy of reading – discovering new characters and worlds, has always been a deep love for me. For many years I studied the art of storytelling, within poetry, films, music, paintings and novels.
The tradition of storytelling, is one that is deep in human history. Capturing the imagination of people, engaging their minds and emotions – through the spoken or written word – is both a joy and a responsibility.
After being blessed with children, I searched the world of books – to help build a library for them,
To my sadness, I struggled to find older children and young adult books, that connected with our family values.
I decided to write the stories, that both represented the values – that we wanted to instil in our children, as well as engage and entertain them.
